It’s almost always cheaper to add the right bag when you book or online before you fly.
Other airBaltic cabin rules worth knowing
- Staff can ask you to put your bag in the sizer and weigh it. It must fit fully and smoothly without force.
- Your under-seat bag counts as cabin baggage, so its weight is added to your cabin bag for the 8 kg limit.
- Not sure if your bag fits? Ask at the bag drop desk before you go through security.
- Babies, with or without a seat, get no cabin baggage allowance. Children get the same allowance as adults on the same fare.
- If part of your trip is on a partner airline, follow the stricter of the two airlines' rules.
- airBaltic Club VIP members get 2 cabin bags (24 kg in total) on any fare. Executive members get 1 cabin bag (12 kg in total), even on Economy MINI.
