Valencia Airport hand luggage liquids rules
Valencia uses Aena's standard rule: containers up to 100 ml in one clear resealable 1-litre bag, with the bag and any laptop or tablet shown separately in the tray.
Some details on this page couldn’t be fully confirmed on the official site. Check before you fly.
- Largest container
- 100 ml per item
- Clear bag needed
- clear resealable bag max 1 litre
- Liquids stay in bag
- No, take them out
- Laptops stay in bag
- No, take them out
- Every lane
- Not stated
Aena's airport page points to its general hand-baggage guide, which gives this rule with no airport, terminal or lane exceptions and no mention of CT scanners; Spain's aviation safety agency (AESA, page updated 29 May 2025) says the same. Medicines and special diets needed on the trip are exempt, and airport or in-flight purchases must stay sealed with the receipt. If a lane does use newer scanners, follow the signs at the checkpoint.
Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
