The airport operator's site (HIAL) was offline for maintenance on 21 October 2026, so the rule comes from its own pages as archived on 1 May 2026 and 15 October 2025, plus an October 2026 round-up that still lists Inverness at 100 ml. HIAL says passengers can leave electronic devices in their hand baggage, but one page adds that devices may still need to come out for screening, so staff may ask. The 100 ml limit came back on 9 June 2024. An older paragraph in the airport's FAQ that mentions 2 litres dates from 1 June 2024 and was reversed on 9 June 2024. Check HIAL's site on the day you fly.

Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
