Dubai Airports allows up to ten containers, 1 litre in total, in one clear resealable bag. Medicines, baby milk or food and special diets are exempt. Dubai Airports is replacing its older scanners in stages. Its chief executive told Gulf News in August 2026 that some new machines are already in. Where they run you may not need to take out laptops or liquids, but the airport has not said which lanes, and its own pages still show the 100 ml rule and the separate tray for laptops. Pack to the 100 ml rule and follow the staff. Check the rules at your destination for the flight home.
Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
