Copenhagen Airport hand luggage liquids rules
At Copenhagen Airport each liquid container can hold no more than 100 ml, all in one clear 1-litre bag in the tray, but laptops and other electronics can stay in your bag in the new CT lanes.
- Largest container
- 100 ml per item
- Clear bag needed
- Clear resealable bag, max 1 litre
- Liquids stay in bag
- No, take them out
- Laptops stay in bag
- Yes
- Every lane
- Not stated
The 19 May 2026 airport release says the new CT scanners can handle bigger containers, but the 100 ml rule stays until the EU approves a change. The airport then expected approval by the end of 2026. No later change was found. Your 1-litre bag must be visible in a tray next to your hand luggage. Free bags are at the packing tables before security. Liquid foods such as jam, soup and spreads count as liquids. Baby food, expressed milk and water for the baby may exceed 100 ml, but must go visibly in a tray and may get extra checks. Electronics can stay in your bag in the new CT lanes (opened 19 May 2026). The airport does not say whether any older lanes remain, so follow the signs and staff.
Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
