The airport's own notice says many airports have not yet introduced this technology, so you may still need a clear plastic bag, and 100 ml containers, on the flight home. The airport's homepage showed 100 ml on 22 October 2025 and 2,000 ml by 3 January 2026, and it has not published an exact start date. Some 2026 round-ups still list Bournemouth at 100 ml, but the airport's own passenger information page, read on 21 October 2026, says 2,000 ml.

Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
